Relay Privacy Policy

Effective: August 22, 2026 Controller: FinalLabs Contact: contact@finallabs.com

This policy explains how Relay for macOS accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you connect your Mac to servers or providers you choose. Relay does not require a FinalLabs account.

1. Information Relay handles

Relay may handle the following categories:

2. Where information is stored

Relay settings and state remain locally on your Mac. Credentials, keys, and OAuth tokens are stored in macOS Keychain. Persistent access to local files and folders you select is stored using macOS security mechanisms.

For a transfer between two remote services, Relay may temporarily create an AES-GCM-encrypted copy on the Mac. This file is excluded from backups, and Relay attempts to delete it when the operation finishes or is cancelled.

FinalLabs does not operate an account, storage, or analytics server for Relay and does not receive a copy of your files or credentials in the version covered by this policy.

3. How information is used and shared

Relay uses information only to display your files and perform the actions you request. Required files and metadata travel directly between your Mac and the server or provider you selected, or between two destinations you authorized.

Those destinations are independent third parties and apply their own terms and policies. Relay does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across apps or websites.

Plain FTP does not encrypt traffic. Use an encrypted protocol such as FTPS, SFTP, SCP, or HTTPS for sensitive information.

4. Google Drive and Google user data

When you connect Google Drive, Relay opens Google's authorization in the system browser and requests basic identity, email, and Drive access. That access lets Relay list, download, upload, create, copy, move, rename, and delete Drive files or folders when you perform or confirm those actions.

Relay uses Google data only to provide these file-management and transfer features. Tokens remain in Keychain, and FinalLabs does not receive or retain your Google account data on its servers. Relay does not transfer Google data to advertisers, data brokers, or surveillance systems.

Relay's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Local MCP integration

Relay includes an optional local MCP helper for automation. It can request uploads or synchronization from local files to an authorized destination. It does not receive credentials and cannot download remote content to the automation tool. Remote deletion always requires explicit confirmation inside Relay.

6. Purchases

Relay Pro subscriptions and the Relay Pro Lifetime non-consumable purchase are processed by Apple. Relay uses StoreKit to determine whether a valid purchase enables Pro features. FinalLabs does not receive your complete payment-method details. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to Apple services.

7. Retention and deletion

Settings and credentials remain on your Mac until you remove the profile, erase Relay data, or macOS removes it. When you delete a Google Drive profile, Relay attempts to revoke access with Google and removes the local credential. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions .

Files already transferred remain at their destination according to your choices and the provider's rules. Delete them at that destination when you no longer need them. Relay asks for confirmation before a remote deletion.

8. Security

Relay uses Keychain, the macOS App Sandbox, system-managed file permissions, and encryption for temporary remote-transfer data. No storage or transmission method is completely infallible; protect your Mac and choose protocols and providers appropriate for your data.

9. Children

Relay is not directed specifically to children, and FinalLabs does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a Relay service of its own.

10. Your choices and requests

You can disconnect profiles, revoke authorizations, clear history, and delete Relay's local data. For questions or access, correction, or deletion requests involving information FinalLabs may receive through support, email contact@finallabs.com .

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if Relay's data practices change. We will show a new effective date and, for a material change, provide an appropriate notice before applying the new use.
